Upcoming : "The Rose", for viola and piano

New work The Rose for viola/voice and piano, written for Margaret Carey (Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra). The piece was inspired by and sets excerpts of Margaret's poem Rose Petals, and also engages with the slow movement of Schubert's Piano Sonata in A, D 959.
